Our Purpose
Streams Retreat Center exists to provide a place where God can continue His work of growth and restoration in the body of Christ through retreats, both personal and in groups, as well as gatherings with family and friends. This is best accomplished in a serene setting, surrounded by the beauty of creation, away from distractions and the busyness of life. Christ Himself drew away from the crowds for time with the Father, and in Mark 6:31, He invited His disciples to come with Him to a quiet place and rest for a while. In Jeremiah 29, God tells us if we seek Him with all our heart, we will find Him. But life is loud. God speaks in a still small voice and will not shout over the noise. SRC provides a space of sacred serenity where those in Christ can draw nearer to Him.

Dr. Richard Bush
The SRC Legacy

Sandra Traver
The Retreat Center is dedicated to Dr. Richard Bush, a humble servant of God who dedicated his life to helping others be spiritually formed by the nature and character of Jesus. Dr. Bush served as a pastor and then in ministry leaderhip training for several decades. He impacted many lives for Christ before he went home to be with the Lord in 2020. One of the key ways God worked through Richard to bring spiritual growth in others was through a series of retreats known as Life on Life Formation.
Sandra Traver is the founder and Director of the SRC. After years of leading women's ministry she was given an opportunity to participate in Dr. Bush’s training. Shortly after, she sensed God leading her to open the Center. Her passion is to provide the same type of retreats so others can experience all God desires to do in them and through them. She has a BA in Christian Ministry, has coordinated and facilitated retreats for over 15 years, is certified to teach Life on Life Formation, and is currently completing a certification in Spiritual Direction.
